Canasta Classes
Overview
Session 1: Beginner Canasta
Tuesdays | 12:30pm-2:30pm | January 9 – February 13, 2024
6-week session
Join instructor Sherry Leonescu and learn the game of Modern American Canasta. This class is an introduction to the game where you will learn the skills needed to understand the strategies, rules, and scoring in an informative, fun, hands-on environment.
Session 1: Intermediate Canasta
Thursdays | 10:00am-12:00pm | January 18 – February 8, 2024
4-week session
If you want to stay sharp and fine tune your canasta game, join instructor Debbie Meyer for intermediate canasta. Learn new strategies and special hands (splashes). Have the edge on other players who are not aware of the nuances of different strategies. If you’ve been playing on a regular basis, you’re ready for the next step! It’s a lot of fun.
