Cycling scorches up to 750 calories in a one hour class! All that pedaling strengthens and defines your glutes, thighs, and calves and improves your cardiovascular health.

You’ll love the group energy and that the bikes are entirely adjustable, so you feel like you’re riding on a real bike! You can set the tension and level of difficulty. Our cycling classes are set to upbeat music, and our motivating instructors will take you on a “ride” that includes sprints, hill climbs, flats, and intervals. All fitness levels are welcome!

Calling all cyclists – it’s time to test your strength and endurance!

Join us for the Tour de J challenge between September 20 and October 17 to earn your yellow jersey. Each week during this challenge, you will ride along with other members at The J to replicate a different stage of the Tour de France. During this challenge, you’ll replicate four stages of the Tour de France, one each week!

Stage One (September 20 – September 26): During this week, you’ll enjoy an easy start as you replicate a ride along the French countryside and the flat terrain between Nice and Sisteron for 40 miles or 64 km.

Stage two (September 27 – October 3): This week, you’ll start your ascent! This ride will replicate the mountain terrain between Cazeres-sur-Garonne and Loudenvielle for 65 miles or 104 km.

Stage three (October 4 – October 10): During the third week, you’ll push yourself like never before, replicating the ride between Chateau d’Oleron and Saint-Martin-de-Ré, you’ll complete a total of 90 miles or 144km.

Stage four (October 11 – October 17): This is the final stretch. During phase four, you’ll complete 115 miles or 185 km to finish this tour under the Arc de Triumph!

Whether you tackle one stage or push yourself to complete all four, once you finish the challenge, we invite you to join your fellow J members at our socially-distanced awards banquet to celebrate your accomplishment and break out the champagne (or favorite non-alcoholic beverage of choice)!

This challenge is open to everyone, and there are four fun ways to complete the challenge: 1) join our cycling classes, 2) join our aqua cycling classes, 3) ride on our cardio floor, and 4) ride independently outside or at home.
