What is Pilates?

Pilates is a system of physical conditioning based on the mind-body teachings of Joseph Pilates. Regular Pilates workouts help you achieve strength, flexibility, and improve posture alignment. A perfect complement to cardiovascular conditioning, Pilates alternates stretching and strengthening exercises resulting in abdominal core control, long, lean muscles, and more.

The Valley of the Sun Jewish Community Center offers mat-based Pilates classes, Group Reformer classes and private instruction in both mat and reformer with our trainers.
