Intro to INDO yoga
Bring Stand Up Paddle board yoga, indoors with this introductory yoga class performed on an INDO board. Our INDO yoga classes can be done on or off your board for a yoga flow experience. This class is offered once a month and is a great way to see if INDO yoga is for you.

Intro to Cycle
Learn the basics of indoor cycling, bike set up and technique. In this 45-minute session you will get comfortable with the most common cues, cadence and perceived exertion as well as spend time on flat roads, rolling hills, and climbs.

There’s something for everyone at the Valley of the Sun Group Fitness Department. We offer classes for the most beginning exerciser to the hard core weekend warrior athlete. Get your move on in Zumba and our new Kids Zumba , only at Valley of the Sun JCC Fitness Center. Use the gliding discs, or take part in our ballet bootcamp class. Get to work in an indoor Cycle class, or try our featured Les Mills program - BodyPump. Wind down with gentle Yoga or any of our other 17 Yoga offerings per week. Group Fitness is cross training at its finest. Mix and match formats to challenge new muscles and stay challenged and motivated!
JCC's Group Fitness classes are taught by certified, experienced and motivated instructors. Our classes include a diverse selection of the latest workout techniques that are in tune with the many fitness needs of our club's members.

30 minute quick, intense, and fun workouts designed to improve your strength, flexibility, endurance, core, balance, and overall health with a variety of classes. NO more excuses, take one class or combine 2 or more classes for a 30, 60 or 90 minute workout.
POUND is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometric and isometric poses into a 30 minute class. Burn calories, strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles. Drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique while rocking out to your favorite music! Rock, rap, pop and old school music fuse to create the POUNDtrack series.
Quick Barre workouts will develop long and lean muscles like those of a ballet dancer. This class incorporates dancing, gliding, as well as core and strength training exercises to effectively strengthen, tone and balance the entire body. This workout will integrate the use of the body bar, Pilate’s rings, light weights and various props. Students will focus on form and precision while performing small isometric movements as instructors emphasize basic alignment, foundation, and specific muscle actions.
Strength workout targeting the muscles of the torso including the front abdominals, obliques, gluts, and back. Improve your posture and sport performance, enhance your balance and stability, and improve your physique.
Your treadmill cardio workout will be challenging and fun, incorporate speeds, inclines and the HIIT Method (High Intensity Interval Method) to maximize your efforts. Burn calories while improving your overall cardiovascular fitness.
